hi there reader! i'm alive!!!!!!!
as it turns out, thinking about writing is a different thing to writing altogether. oops!!
i do have a list of blog drafts that i haven't really dug into, but for right now i think it'd be fun to make a list of things that have been going on in my life. a life update if you will
in no particular order:
- got glasses again after losing the zenni pair i had last winter and i'm wondering how it was that i went through life squinting for the past ~year
- met my sweet next door neighbors
- got a car
- my cat injured her leg in august but as of November is now stable enough to be jumping on counters in defiance of my authority
- got a pair of clark's shoes and have immediately become obsessed with the brand
- got prescribed a new medication and now my sex drive is CRAZY!!!
- quit my existing job of almost 5 years
- got a new job
- my sweet neighbor also got a job (DIVAAA)
- bought a few of the nostalgic toys i mentioned in my other blog INCLUDING THE FUCKASS UNICORN!!!! WHICH I SLEEP WITH!!!! #notjustnostalgia
i'm definitely going to be making a more in-depth blog post about my thoughts after spending a not small amount of money on children's toys and the reality of it all, but that'll be a different post :) i want to finish up writing more things and not make so many posts about the same thing over and over lol
the good thing about a new job is that it kind of forces you to be judicious about your free time. so if I piss away the day playing video games like I did yesterday then I won't get anything done for at least another week. SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!! also i didn't fully piss the day away I did scan a bunch of drawings :) but that's beside the point!!!
